St.Mark's 50th Birthday

In April we gathered to celebrate the fiftieth year of St.Mark's, which opened in 1974.

With a display of memories and plenty of cake it was a memorable  and fun celebration.

St Stephen's 150th Anniversary

History Day

St Stephen's opened in February 1874, 150 years ago! It's a fascinating Grade II Listed Victorian building full of architecture to explore. Lots of local history fans visited us and we enjoyed sharing stories with them and showing the church archives. We also had the Prefab Project in attendance, who represent a really important part of the history on our doorstep.

St Stephen's 150th Anniversary

Celebration Service

In February we held a special celebration as we give thanks to God for 150 years and to look forward to the years to come. Bishop John spoke and we welcomed lots of familiar faces, past and present, from church and from the wider community.

We're planning more special events for all ages as we celebrate 150 years.
