The Gateacre Team Ministry are St Stephen Gateacre on Belle Vale Road, and St Mark Childwall Valley on Hartsbourne Avenue. We are Anglican churches that are part of the Church of England, that serve Gateacre, Belle Vale, Childwall Valley and Netherley.

Sadly during the pandemic one of our church buildings, Christ Church Netherley, fell into severe disrepair and had to be closed. The congregation merged with St Marks. We have aspirations to start a worshipping community back into Netherley, and are still discerning what this might look like.

​

In 2024 St Mark's celebrated their 50th birthday, and St Stephen's their 150th. This past year has been filled with celebration and opportunities to connect with the people we love in our communities.
